“Meridian Exercises and Health Improvement”
In Oriental health practices, it is considered that our vital Energy (Ki, Chi, etc) circulates around our bodies through a network of Energy lines or meridians.
An understanding of these Energetic networks gives us a powerful tool that helps us with our physical, mental and spiritual development.
The morning’s session will comprise of learning basic stretches for the fourteen classic meridians. Along with the meridian stretches there will be advice and help with understanding the function of the meridian and supplemental exercises to help develop that particular area. Also included will be some basic meditation practices, exercises to increase Energy with an element of theory to support the information given.
The session will be useful to anybody who is interested in holistic practices, martial arts, meditation or just wants to learn some simple and easy ways of maintaining their health.
The session is open to all.
