If you decide to take the full Shiatsu treatment, the following will happen for you:-

  • Registration – if you are a new client
  • Discussion – what are you looking for in your treatment?
  • The Shiatsu treatment
  • Recommendations – your homework!

When you decided to try Shiatsu, you decided on some level to take control of your health and wellbeing. In the treatment, the therapist worked with your Energy with the intention of giving you a boost that helps to either keep you in good health or puts you on the path towards better health.

Whilst it may seem like good business practice for the Shiatsu therapist to try and get you back in for another treatment as soon as possible, this is not how real Shiatsu should work.

The therapist can assist you by coaching you with exercises, meditations, dietary recommendations, counselling or anything that can help you to adjust your energy.

If you follow the recommendations you will not need to spend as much money on Shiatsu treatments and you learn how to take responsibility for your own health rather than passing the responsibility on to a doctor or therapist.
